ME6 (Mechanical Engineering Dept.): Basic Electrical and Electronic Circuits, Winter 2016Cource DescriptionThis course has been designed to introduce fundamental principles of circuit theory commonly used in engineering research and science applications. Specifically, it should introduce techniques and principles of electrical circuit analysis including basic concepts such as voltage, current, resistance, impedance, Ohm's and Kirchoff's law, basic electric circuit analysis techniques (e.g. Methods of Analysis and Transformations, Thevenin and Norton Equivalent circuits), operational amplifiers, first order circuits, filters, second order circuits. Office HoursPlease email or phone me in advance to schedule for an appointment. If you have any questions about the course, please send me email. I will try to respond as quickly as possible. Additionally, I will share questions that are particularly good (and their answers) with the rest of the class by broadcasting my answer to the entire class. If you plan to come to office hours for questions about homework, please be prepared to show attempts at solving the problem that you prepared before coming.
